My hiuband has ancestors from Monroe Co........Is it diffucult to get into the courthouse to do research???.....I would like to plan a trip for research....but it would be useless if there are problems.....And I live a long way..... Had trouble with a courthouse in a county near where I live.....Contacted the District Judge who straightned the problem out....The problem was with the probate judge..... Those records belong to you, if they are your ancestors.....
