Hi...although I don't have any of the names in your letter, I do have Arthur B. Mooney who married Nancy Sills in December, 1848, in Lowndes County, Al. Their daughter Alice Elizabeth Mooney married William Thomas Solomon on 22 October 1848, probably in Old Texas, Alabama, which is in Monroe County. There could be a connection to your Mooneys.
