2. Hello gang, I've been playing around on the USGS site. Click here: USGS Mapping Information: GNIS United States and Territories Data Base Query Form http://mapping.usgs.gov/www/gnis/gnisform.html I found out it is possible to run a search for every feature on a map, if you already know the name of the map. For example, one map is the BURNT CORN map. The site will list every geographic feature on he map. Dennards Bluff, where Asa lived in 1870, is on the FLYNNS LAKE map. I got a list of 40 features but several are across the river in Clarke Co. By checking the others I determined that Rocky Hill Chuch is close to where Dennards Bluff used to be. Can anyone giv me any information about Rocky Hill Church or Poplar Bridge Cemetery? I'm going to be in Monroe Co on Oct. 16 and I would like to know where it is at, just in case I get an urge to go.
