Seeking information on Alexander TORRY (TORREY, TORRIE, TORY) who was born October 12, 1776 and died July 4, 1835. He was born in North Carolina and is supposed to be buried at Claiborne in Monroe County. Alexander Torry is known to have lived in Hancock and Clarke counties in Georgia. He was probably married twice. The name of his first wife was a Miss Hamilton and the name of his second wife was Phalby HORN. Children included: Rebecca, George William, James, Mary Elizabeth, Aveline, Frances, David and John. I would like to know the location of his grave in Monroe County if it is marked.
