    3. Deborah... Some libraries prohibit copying books that are out of print and/or in poor condition. This is true of the Clayton Genealogy Library in Houston, TX. I had to buy a copy of "The History of Marion County, South Carolina" because their one copy was rather old. They have some of the books marked as "Do Not Photocopy". It has to do with the fragility. They wouldn't even allow a scan. Why would a library prohibit copying? Certainly the Mobile Public does not nor has any other library that I have used that included Brantley's book. By the by, the listing of the Middleton Cem. in this vol. is missing quite a number of the actual marked graves. Nevertheless, some of the other information has been useful.
