I realize that post offices determined the census. My people while living in several places were listed in Burnt Corn, Dennard's Bluff, Buena Vista etc. yet they lived on the Ridge. I was, however, told by one of the genealogy buffs in Monroe County that the Dennard near Eliska listed on the 1895 map I have, is indeed, a different place from Dennard's Bluff. He was not certain where it was but stated that Dennard near Eliska is not the Bluff. I would hope someone could help Grant before he gets to Monroe County in identifying the area. That is, after all, the point of the entire discussion. ;-) Now that I've said that, someone, pleeeaaaasse find it for Grant and me. We would be forever indebted. I've tried for the last month.
