With other researchers, I am trying to identify the families who owned the grocery store in Repton, Al., in the early 1900s. In the late thirties or early thirties, the store was owned by my Cousin Louie Roberson. His father Emmett Roberson helped him with the operation of the store. At that time, theirs was the only grocery store in Repton. I just learned from another researcher that the original owners of the store, also a Roberson family, sold the store to my Cousin Louie. She tells me that her relative said they sold the store to a "cousin." That would signify that the two Roberson families were related. Does anyone on this Board have anyone info that would help us with this mystery?
