There are many Fosters I have found during this time; these could be descendents of Elizabeth Foster. My direct ancestor, Richardson Foster, b. 1801 died in 1835 before the date of his mother's will. His only sons, Thomas (1834-1849) and Richardson (1835-1836) did not survive to produce children. By the 1840's the family had moved to Louisiana. Only his daughter, Elizabeth Adeline Foster survived him and married in Keatchie, LA; 2 of her children survived to adulthood. -----Original Message----- From: Kathryrn Weatherford [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, July 18, 2006 8:28 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [ALMONROE-L] Elizabeth Foster There is a James D. Foster 5-18-1851 - 4-3-1894 and wife Mary E. Foster 5-18-1852-2-3-1899 buried in McConnico Cemetery at Perdue Hill. Could this be the son of one of the Fosters you are looking for? Buried with them is Bessie Graham Parker, dau of J. J. (Jabez Jackson) & A. F. (Autherine Foster) Parker who died 8-7-1891 aged 19 years. J. J. Parker was the son of Asa Parker, Jr. Asa, Jr. was a brother to Othniel Parker, my gr grandfather. Any connection?
