    1. Re: [ALMONROE-L]Ethridge-Snider-Daniel
    2. Gladys - I have Ethridges The family of Ashby Washington Etheridge and his wife Martha Graves. Ashby was the son of James Etheridge and Effie Ashby - from Cutrrick Co., NC & I'm having a hard time with this line. Believe they are connected to that of Marmaduke Etheridge - just not coming up with any documentation or much information. My Ross line is out of Mecklenburg & Cabarrus Co., NC. Some of this family went to TN while some others went to GA. I've traced my Ross from Humphrey & Perry Co., TN back to Mecklenburg. I think the closest that they came to AL was to catch a train at Gadsden AL on their migration to the Peter's Colony in Young Co., TX - so, the story goes. I have noticed that many of these TN families seem to have come down the Duck River to settle in the North counties of AL - those are Tally, Holland, Moses Kirkland descendents, Montgomery, Carruthers/Carothers, and others.
