    3. Hi, Mary Ann McMurphy, that married David L. Dailey was the daughter of Alexander McMurphy and Sarah Corley. I obtained that information from Mary Ann M. Dailey's death certificate. It also says she was born in Pine Apple, Wilcox county. There are several Corleys buried in one of the Pine APple cemeteries, and I speculate that Sarah Corley's brother was Levi Corley, who owned land next to Alexander McMuphy in Wilcox county, near the Monroe county line. Levi Corley & A. McMurphy obtained land grants on the same day, adjacent, so I am assuming there is some relation. There are also several Corley's & McMurphys buried at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Wilcox county. This is all I can think of off the top of my head without digging into my stuff. Hope this helps. By the way, I am descended from Alex Daniel Dailey, son of David L & Mary Ann.
