Emma, At one time I put a query in the Pike Co.,Al Newsletter trying to locate the parents of my grandfather, Erasmus Dee Jones. Story handed down by family was that he and his brothers left for Fl on a buckboard after one of them got in a fight and thought he killed a man. This was in 1870. In the 1060 Pike Co., Al. these Jones boys were in the household of George C. Powell. Isaac S. b 1850, Erasmus D. b 1851, and Stephen J b unknown. He got sick on way to Fl and died. We do not know where he was buried. Your years were not the same; but I sure would like to find out who the parents of these boys were. Thanks, Evelyn Jones Chulik curley592@aol.com
