The good news: after multiple uninstalls and reinstalls of Netscape I now have a working browser. The bad news: the 3,500+ messages that I had saved are now lost and not to be found. Even Moses couldn't help now with this mess. So, please send me your e-mail -- my address file is toast. If we were slowing working on family lines -- remind me of the family etc. The moral: even if you personally ensure that you always practice safe computer techniques, train, remind, and threaten if necessary, anyone else with access to your computer of the critical necessity of NEVER downloading and executing files with careful evaluation and screening for virus/worm problems.
