(today known as Wainwright). The 1870 census designation of Dennard's Bluff has confused many family researchers unfamiliar with the county. If you can visit the Monroe County Courthouse, seek the Tract Books (there are 2 volumes). These will tell you where Stabler 1st settled public land (either with a military warrant or homestead).
