Have you any idea when Ann Gorin Scott died or any other facts about her? I know that she and husband met Mary Chestnut, I think it was in Alabama. Your earlier post indicated you have a portrait of Scott. I would like a copy if you care to share it. An emailed copy would be fine. I have an unpublished draft of his memoirs. Much was left out of the book version. Scott lived in my home town during the gold rush. I have been researching the 75 passengers that travelled with him on the ship Glenmore in 1849. IF you are intersted I have some other things on him too.
