Kay, the blank shows up when an image is inserted because the list is set for "plain text". It won't take special backgrounds, fonts, or photos. In the place of the image, the word "blank" will appear. If the list were set to go through as HTML, then whatever you put there would have appeared. May y'all have the merriest of Christmases!
