The Monroe Journal, Thursday, July 30, 1914 Death of Mrs. M. J. Stacey Mrs. M. J. Stacey, wife of A. J. Stacey, died at her home near Jones Mill, Ala., Tuesday Morning, July 14, 1914, at 10 o'clock. She had been sick nine months. She was married to Andrew J. Stacey January 31, 1869. She leaves her husband and twelve children to mourn their loss, 48 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, one brother and one sister, J. M. Grimes and Sarah A. Wilkinson. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, having joined in her young days. She was a true and faithful member. She was well known throughout the county. She was born in Monroe County Sept. 12, 1852 and was 62 years, 10 months and 23 days old at the time of her death. A Friend
