Pat, My g-aunt, sister of my maternal g-mother, married Homer C. Dees. She was Ella C. Andress. They married May 13, 1908. She was buried in Grand Bay, AL in 1948. That's about all I currently know, but am wondering if Homer is connected at all to your Dees. They were all from Monroe County. My uncle seems to think that Morris Dees who has become quite well known for his Southern Poverty Law Center in Birmingham is related to us as well. Ring any bells?
