My husband's mother was a Davis ~ that being her parents were Frank & Janie Ruth Hayles Davis. She had a sister Maizee that is now deceased but one of her marriages she married a Gentry of which produced a male child with the last name of Gentry. I know nothing about this family other than what I have written. Actually I obtained the name of Rippy or Rippey from another query regarding the name of Davis.
