Hall and my 2nd great grandmother Anna Laspeyre. Do you have anything about Anna's parents Bernard Laspeyre and Harriet Ashe? I have Edward and Catherine Gause's children as Anna, Lee, Flora, and Johnnie Augusta (m.John Thomas Dawes). It is interesting that the Gause family moved to Houston Co., TX, where Edward was teaching school in 1870 and then founded the Crockett Patron in 1880. E.A. Gause's father John was born in N.C., same as Catherine. Please tell the story about the "two doctors in the same PO getting their mail mixed up." Do you have a .jpg of Dr. Hall? My great grandfather Alexander Hamilton Hall, son of Anna C. Laspeyre and Capt. William Augustus Hall, was also a doctor. Thanks, Steve
