I suspect she is the mother of my ancestor Solomon Gay. Solomon was married to one of Mastin Pugh's daughters, and there are several connections between Elizabeth's sons (John and William) and the Pugh family. Have you found Eliz. on the 1860 & 70 censuses? I have found a Butler Co. marriage between a Jesse Ring and an Elizabeth Gay. Do you know if this is 'our' Elizabeth? Thanks! Linda M.
