    1. [ALMONROE] New e mail addy and name
    2. Emma Phillips
    3. Greetings: As some of you already know, my husband, David Panske passed away in 2003. Luther Phillips wife passed away exactly one month after David after a long illness. Luther and I and our families have been friends for some 55 + years, so in 2004 Luther and I were married. We have been sharing time between my home in Chaparral and his here in Carlsbad, NM. We have come to the conclusion that it makes more sense to live here in the smaller home , which is in a senior village and has maintenance done for us as well as close by medical help, so we have my home in Chaparral for sale. We are about moved in here. Sooo. all of this leads up to my new name Emma Medlock Panske-Phillips , new e mail emmp106@yahoo.com. Thanks for reading and updating. Emma (still in NM)

    3. Kay, the blank shows up when an image is inserted because the list is set for "plain text". It won't take special backgrounds, fonts, or photos. In the place of the image, the word "blank" will appear. If the list were set to go through as HTML, then whatever you put there would have appeared. May y'all have the merriest of Christmases! Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.alabama.counties.monroe/2875/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I am looking for assistance in trying to find records on the Spanish American War Veterans from the State of Alabama. I am trying to gather any and all information about them, and anyone who is interested in helping please feel free to contact me at Johnnyreb6@aol.com. I am currently gathering the rosters of all the Southern Volunteers who served in the Spanish American War, and as you can imagine it's pretty difficult trying to locate all these men by ones self, so I'm looking for any help that I can get. I'm looking for any artifacts, grave locations, personal documents, etc... regarding the Veterans of 1898' to 1902' from Mississippi, or any other State for that matter. This is part of a larger effort by myself and the members of the Micah John Jenkins Camp No. 164, Sons of Spanish American War Veterans, to try and make sure that the Veterans of the Spanish American War, Philippine Insurrection, and China Relief Expedition, are remembered. If anyone is interested in more information about the S.S.A.W.V. please feel free to visit our website at: http://www.geocities.com/sonsofspanamwar/, as well as for information about the General William C. Oates Outpost of Northern Alabama or the Lieutenant Richmond P. Hobson Outpost of Southern Alabama, of this Camp. Thank you all for your time, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Kenneth H. Robison II, Camp President, Micah J. Jenkins Camp No. 164, Sons of Spanish American War Veterans.

    2. Dear Mr. Robison: I'm interested in more info on names of those who served in the Spanish Amer. War. But when I clicked on the geocities web site address the error message said it was not available because the site had exceeded it's data transfer limit. Please tell me when it is fixed. thanks. 1. Re: [ALMONROE] Mary F. and John Huggins
    2. Thanks for your message. Jasper Huggins (d. 1901) was the son of John Huggins (1821-1906) and his first wife Margaret (Unknown). The Sally Huggins next to Jasper Huggins would be his wife, Sally Black Huggins (1868-1942), whose grandson was Lambert Phillips. I assume Mary Frances Farris(h) Huggins must be in an unmarked grave since she's not listed. She should be next to or near John Huggins since she was his (second) wife. Thanks again for the reply.
