    2. No my husband was born in Whistler, Mobile County, AL. His name is Albert Daniel Wynne. He was born 29 Nov. 1939. His mother Myra Wright was born in Conecuh Coutny. She was a Wright daughter of Daniel Columbus and Frances Emily Williams. > Frances was a daughter off Theophilus born Aug 1857 and Ferby Ann Mixon born June 1858. Ferby was born to Isaac B. Mixon born 12-03-1826 died 05-17-1902., and Mary Elizabeth Higdon, born 1834 died 1919. The Mixon family is well represented in Monroe as well as Conecuh county, AL. What else can I tell You?     3. I know that my ancestors, the Medlocks were in Perdue Hill in 1840, maybe even 1830. I saw the 1840 census with Moses and Nancy Medlock on it. It seems they and some others moved away from the river in Claiborne because of yellow fever. Moses and Nancy, their infant son, son-in-law and a daughter are buried in the McConnico cemetery there. Most of the other Medlocks are buried in the Mexia Baptist Cemetery, in Mexia, Ala. Perdue Hill, Mexia, Frisco City are all fairly close and I believe the closest large town is Monroeville, AL, home of Harper Lee wrote "To Kill a Mockingbird". The people at the courthouse in Monroeville have always been helpful to me and the Monroe Journal is a good source of info too. Hope this is helpful to you. I am searching for the family of Flavel Foster, think he was born around 1910 (think he was around 58 or so in 1970 but not sure, he may have lived in the Pensylvania area where his wife's family was from (Ruth) is her name. Have records of ancestory in Monroe County Alabama going back to the 1840's think that may have been Flavel L. Foster. The family moved to Louisiana in or around 1848 and established very, very large plantations in Caddo Parish. Also have info of Flavel Foster and Mary Hollingsworth Foster, wife, he, born in Virginia in 1801, her born Alabama 1802 (lived in Alabama until 1842 and moved to Caddo Parish, LA. OF MOST importance that we locate information of heirs of Jacob Flavel Foster, or Flavel Foster born around 1910 or so?not sure, decendent of Foster Plantation in Bossier/Caddo Parish.     3. In the 1880 Census, Monroe County, HH 18, I find James W. Robertson, age 65, with wife Sarah M. age 38, with eight children:James E., 19, Wiley M. 16, William W., age 9, Wyatt M. age 7, John W. age 5, Fletcher F. age 2, Octavia M. 3/12. With them is Laura A., age 34, sister. This is probably James W.'s sister. Now, I have James W. Robertson, son of Robert Ervin Old Pappy Robertson) with three wives, Sophronia Matilda Riley, Frances Langham, and Rachael Whiteside/Whitesnake. I do not have James married to a Sarah M. I think son James E., son Wiley M., son Fletcher, son, William W. and daughter Octavia are children by Sophronia. But who is the mother of Wyatt M.? Probably Sophronia because of his birth year, but who is Sarah M.? In the HH 17 next door is B. J. Bailey with wife Elizabeth and their children are listed. Does anyone have info to help me with this family? Thank you.
