Hello from Susann Whiddon-Wandrey of Trabuco Canyon, CA I am very new to list but have a good feeling about this one!! I am interested in any or all information some kind soul might share on Deerpark, AL particularly in the 19th C. My kin are the following: Charles Wilson WHIDDON, b. July 9,1883, Deerpark, AL; d. Aug.13,1935, Mandeville, LA. He was the son of Catherine PAINE of Deerpark (her Paine father was a Civil War vet) and Charles WHIDDON of ENG.>IRE> Florida.(vitals on this slippery one, also unknown!!) Now, I've heard tell, Alabama is just about crawlin' with WHIDDONs, so I'm hoping this will yield something. My prayers are out there. I have lots of info on later WHIDDONs all 'round the nation, should anyone be wondering.
