Richard Trott was the son of Richard Trott and Mary Batcher who married 18 Jan 1827 St. Mary, Lewisham, Kent. Capt. Richard Trott married Martha Manson (d/o John Jasper Manson and Elizabeth Emms) on 23 Jun 1857 Saint Dunstan, Stepney, London. Capt. Richard Trott had two known siblings: William Henry Trott b. 3 Mar 1831 Rotherhithe, London Mary Trott b. c1829 Capt. Richard Trott and wife, Martha Manson, had four children: Martha Mary Anne Trott b. 12 Apr 1858 in Rotherhithe Richard William Lee Trott b. 24 Sep 1859 in Rotherhithe Dominick/Dominique Jasper Trott b. 6 Dec 1861 in Alabama Philip F.
