I am looking for the parents of Jean (Baptiste) Colon, dit La Violette...and have not had ANY LUCK! You state in your message that he is "French Canadian voyageur, Jean Baptiste Colon dit La Violette", so am I to understand that you have found parents for him???...or...can you tell me how you have deduced that he was indeed "French Canadian".
