Andres?] PIERROT in Mobile between 1870 and 1880. Would appreciate a lookup in the 1994 index published by the Mobile Genealogical Society. Andr. PIERROT, age 80, born in France, was enumerated with his son-in-law, Joseph A. Herman (Hermann) in Mobile in the 1870 US Census (M593-31-219). Although the son-in-law and family is still in Mobile in the 1880 US Census (T9-0025-489B), the old man does not appear. It is reasonable to assume, given his age, that he died before 1880. Knowing the date of death will help me in my search for probate and other such records.
