To grandson, Mathew D. Thomason, son of Dr. William A Thomason, deceased. To daughter Caroline Allen Giddens. To rest of my children: Elizabeth Shields Orman, Edward Watson Thomason, Mathew D Thomason, and John Givans Thomason. My remains be placed in a vault, in some dry place with marble slab marked with date of my birth, April 16, 1773. The time I have been preaching, April 26, 1814 and also date of my death. Executors - Oldest son Dr. E. W. Thomasn and Mr. John Ralls. Witnesses - John E Gage, Daniel McGill, and P. Allan. Recorded - 16 Sept. 1864
