    1. [ALMOBILE] Re: BRADY -- TRY BREADEY & BREADY too! **MOBILE/MS TERRITORY*
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BREADEY, BREADY, BRADY, MCVOY,MCBOY, MACVOY, BYRNE, BYRNS,BYRN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TS.2ADE/18.1 Message Board Post: Try BREADEY in the older records. For my MCVOY family, (I think his name was James BREADEY??) was a witness at the wedding of GERALD BYRNE'S (BYRNS, BYRN),SR's daughter, MARGARET BYRNS (as spelled on wedding cerificate- but later known as BYRNE) and WILLIAM MCAVOY,SR (as spelled--later known as MCVOY) in Mobile on Feb.14,1799 according to the Catholic records. Gerald BYRNS (as spelled) was my ancestor and his daughter Margaret BYRNE/BYRNS was my 3rd great grandmother. She and my 3rd ggrandpa William MCVOY/MCAVOY are buried at Old Church St.Cemetery in Mobile. But on William's brother, DIEGO MCVOY/MCAVOY's grandchildren's baptism certificates between 1800 and 1816 (I only have 2 of them) BREADEY is also there as a witness.. He must have been close to these families. Also, EARLE is DEFINITELY connected to my BYRNE family. I am seeking any available info about this MR.BREADEY. These folks were all obviously Irish. Wish I could find more info. Thanks. Bonnie Treon in NC [email protected] (PS- we have a [email protected] E-mail list if anyone is interested.)
