Neither her brother Pushmataha or sister Hotema are shown as children of Shumaka and Roscoe Cole in your reply to Robin Evans. I've never heard of Alma Mason so would be really interested in her sources for the names of Shumaka and Roscoe Cole's children plus Shumaka's remarrying. Oklahoma succeeded his uncle, Pushmataha, as chief of Okla Hannali district, but according to one website, didn't last long because of 'dissipation'. A second nephew, Topenahomma, was then selected. There was a Robert Cole who served as chief of the Okla Falaya district from 1824-1826. A Coleman Cole was principal chief from 1874-1878. 'Look forward to hearing from you.
