    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TS.2ADE/1127.1 Message Board Post: There is a community called Turnerville about 10 miles north of Saraland near Citronelle. Also, a small area between Whistler and Prichard was once called Turnerville. Until the '40s, there was a Turnerville Cemetery (sometimes called Rawls Cemetery) on Dunlap Circle just off Turner Road. The graves that could not be moved to another location were destroyed in the '40s. Only one grave now exists beneath a large oak tree at the back of a large vacant lot on Dunlap Circle. If ancestors who lived in the Whistler area were buried at Turnerville before the '40s, it is likely they were buried in the cemetery on Dunlap Circle, not in the Turnerville Cemetery10 miles north of Saraland.
