I found out last year that the family you mentioned is my family on my birth mother's side. I had others use ancestry.com and other census and ended up finding my birth mother's 1st cousin, which is my 2nd cousin. I got to meet her and she showed me some pictures of her family. She also showed me a picture of the half brother I had been looking for. I found out later from one of her relatives that he died back in 2001.
