Marianne Palmer Gaillard, Wife of Thomas Gaillard, Born in St Stephens Parish SC, Sept 1 1793, Died in Mobile July 26 1860. Caroline Gordon Gaillard, Oct 3 1816 - Mar 18 1896. There is no listing for John Gaillard but they are with lots of other Gaillards. 2) John's granddaughter Caroline Gaillard Hurtel wrote "The River Plantation" about the Gaillard home in Monroe Co. 3) Marianne Gaillard Sprately wrote "Huguenot Ancestry of Samuel Palmer Gaillard of Mobile, Alabama". 4) 1850 Monroe Co AL census lists families of Thomas & John.
