My husband's people are from Wilmer and the Tanner-Williams area in Mobile County. Can you tell me who is the father of Henry Clarence Pierce? Henry Clarence Pierce (b.May 1879, d. Jan. 1951, buried in Wilmer Cem.) was married to Mamie Allen (b. Aug. 1881, d. Jan. 1970, buried in Wilmer Cem.) In the 1910 census I find Clarence Pierce with wife, Mamie and five children. Living next door I find his mother, Mary, widow 48 yrs. old with son, Garnes (should read Garner) 18 yrs. old. Do you know who Mary's husband is? This has been a brick wall for me for several years. Any help appreciated. Thank you in advance.
