Since Brewer was a Mental Retardation facility, you might try writing to the Department of Mental Health & Mental Retardation, MR Division,100 North Union Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104. They should have some type of record that shows who the clients/patients were at Brewer and where they had been moved.
