The Sarah Elizabeth Turner that is the daughter of Noel Turner, Jr. and Mary Harrell is listed as age 13 in the 1850 census. In the 1860 census she is listed as 23, but the census taker puts her on the wrong line. She is listed as being in the household of her brother, Charles Leslie Turner (the policeman). Her siblings Mary Ellen and Oliver are also listed in the wrong household. According to Noel Jr's family bible, Sarah Elizabeth was married to Lewis Monroe Pierce on 13 Feb 1868. A marriage license was issued, but it was never returned. I do not have a record of any other marriages for her. She died in Mobile Co. on 21 Dec 1915 and is buried in the Palestine Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. I will be glad to help you sort this out if you can give me more information. Howard
