    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/TS.2ADE/1356.2 Message Board Post: Rena Lott and Jimmy Jones were my great grandparents. I don't know alot of information as they passed long ago. I can tell you that Rena Lot lived the last of her years in Houston along with her daughters Lois Jones Leverett and Lottie Jones Gillespie--all three of which are buried along side eachother at Forrest Lawn Cemetery. That she had other children, Lloyd Jones who lived in Alabama and was married to Hazel (maiden name unknown). He has since passed. My grandmother, Lois, only had one child--Dorthey. To my knowledge Lottie did not have any children. I believe Lloyd has children in Alabama and may have some children living in the Houston, TX area. My mother and grandmother have since both passed as well. I believe that my grandmother was born in either Foxboro or Franklin Mississippi. It was atleast in Mississippi. There were other children that I know less about- Vester Jones. I have a small portion of their family bible birth record page that I keep safe and will gl! adly share with any Jones' or Lotts' who are looking.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/TS.2ADE/1790.2 Message Board Post: I found the obit for Nellie Cain Campbell in the Mobile Register. She was survived by husband, Eugene Campbell; sons Emory S & B R Thomas, all of Mobile; and daughter Mrs P S Henry of Atlanta. She is buried in Magnolia Cemetery. A follow up article the next day lists the minister and pall bearers, who look to be her Cain, Rabby, and Bosarge nephews. I checked the Magnolia book of tombstones, compiled in 1971, but she apparently does not have a marker. However, if you contact the Magnolia office, they should be able to give you the Square & Lot number, a map of where the lot is in the cemetery, and a list of everyone buried on the lot. The library also has a list of burials in IOOF Cemetery in Bayou La Batre, which is where most of the Cains are buried, and a biography of Joe Cain. (He was moved to Church Street Cemetery in 1967.) The Mobile Register ran a front page article on Joe Cain on 6 Feb 2005 which provides a lot of information about him and interviews with his descendants in Bayou La Batre. If you would like a copy of the obits and the article, contact me at TMWJR13@yahoo.com with your snail mail address. Pam Whiteside Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness Mobile AL
