The children were Pritchard Partridge, Mary Winslow Partridge, and Thad Partridge, all born in the 1940's. They may still be in Mobile, and could help you with family information. Am not sure about the house on Government Street.

Surnames: MURLY KEECH Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/mbexec/msg/5538/TS.2ADE/1871 Message Board Post: I've had a fantastic fast response to my query posted yesterday - thank you Gis. I've received details of my ancestors from the US Federal Census of 1860. I would now like to trace the birth records - and maybe the death records for the parents - details are as follows: JOHN MURLY - born abt 1819 in England (?Bridport, Dorset?) CATHARINE MURLY - born 1835 in Bridport, Dorset. Their marriage took place in Bridport, Dorset in 1852, and I've got details of that. They had 3 children - all born in Mobile, Alabama - AMELIA LOUISA MURLY, born about 1854; EMMA MURLY, born about 1856; and JOHN GEORGE MURLY, born 1859. All these details came from the US Federal Census of 1860. The three children appear in the British Census of 1871 and 1881, but I cannot find any deatils of the parents after 1860, and I wondered if they died in the US. What I would like to know is how can I get details - and/or copies - of the birth registration and possible death? Can some kind person out there help me? I look forward to hearing from somebody! Philip

Surnames: Murly Keech Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/mbexec/msg/5538/TS.2ADE/1870 Message Board Post: I'm in the Uk, and I would be most grateful if somebody could kindly look up some information for me about my great grandmother AMELIA LOUISA MURLY, born in Mobile, Alabama in 1851. She married Alfred Joseph KEECH on Christmas Day, 1875, in Bridport, Dorset, England. Her marriage certificate showed her father as John Murly, a mariner. The 1881 UK Census identifies her other siblings as EMMA MURLY, born in Mobile, in 1856 and JOHN GEORGE MURLY, born in Mobile in 1860. She, herself is shown in the UK 1881 Census as born in Mobile, a British subject. I am not able to access the birth/marriages/death details, and I wondered if there was anybody who could help. I believe that John Murly came from Bridport, Dorset, England, as I have found a marriage between anothe KEECH and a Phebe MURLY in Bridport in 1803. I look forward in anticiaption to a good response from our friends across the pond!!! Philip

Surnames: Meeker-Taylor-Newburn Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TS.2ADE/1240.1 Message Board Post: I have acquired a rather lenghtly family tree and history of Wilson Holland Taylor who married Sarah Newburn. It lists all the descendants, and information, and many, many photo's. It was printed in 1981, so it also includes many descendants still living. John Taylor b.1813 married Louisa Meeker b.1825, they had a son Wilson Holland Taylor. John and Louisa divorced, and Louisa married Allen Gartman. The history tells about the people, their occupations etc. but nothing about the murder.(if there was in fact one) There is information about an Indian raid, the Copeland gang,Civil War, WW11. Through the history they came from a long line of Baptist believers, some being Preachers.Another built the first church in Burgetown. Please email me for more information. Thanks
