Could someone please tell me where the BLM stores the actual applications (and associated records) for land transactions for 1840s Marshall Co? Would records also be kept in Montgomery? The transaction is in the plat books of Marshall Co and I have a copy of the certificate which I obtained from BLM but I would like to find the application itself.
