Does anyone know what the local newspaper (probably in the Meltonville area, near Guntersville) was called in 1893? James Childress, son of Elijah Childress, was killed while going to reposses a horse. He was shot by Bill Bell. The shooting took place on December 14, 1893. There is supposed to be a small article on the shooting. Thanks a lot, Richard Childers
