I had about twenty requests for this article describing starvation conditions in the North Alabama area. It is from The Huntsville Advocate, June 30th 1866. The article starts on the second column. The article had to be scanned three times. The 1st scan is the top of the first page, the second is the bottom, the last is the back. I have not transcribed this and there are parts you may not be able to make out. I did blow it up so that it can more easily be read.
