Wife was Jane, who had married Wesley Anderson in Mar. 1841. Minor children were William R. and Solomon Saunders. William R. was born 1834, Solomon was born 1837. Estate was administered by Francis Saunders and James M. Evans. Jane later married John Raines and was mother of George Washington and Sarah Jane Raines. No record has been found of John and Jane Raines after 1850 census of Marshall Co..
