He was raised in Troup County, GA . After his marriage he moved his family to Marshall County from the Cedartown, GA area. As I mentioned regarding the other two sons of James Milton Craig, I am not certain they were never married but according to the information I have they were not. The names were John Henry Craig (1840-1862) died at Evansport, VA., and William Wallace Craig b. 22 Nov 1843. William Wallace was captured at Vicksburg and he never returned from the war.
