Looking for information on JEREMIAH SMITH 1773 SC - 1860/1870.  Wife, MARY 1788 SC - aft 1870. Children: Jeremiah Jr, John B., Henry L.D., Peggy, Luke, Rosanna, Rhoda, Joel, Julia A, Thomas.  Other's connected to family - Littleton H., Pleasant Ayler, John H, Joel A,.D. (Joel Anderson, Joseph) and Polly.  The family is listed in Cherokee Co, AL in 1850 Census.  Some children in household appear to be too young to be natural children.  Some moved to Marshall Co by 1860.  Others probably remained in Etowah Co, AL.  I descend from Joel A.D.  He married (1) Margaret Ann ISBELL (2) Sarah Mary Elizabeth HALL.  I know nothing about my Ggrandmother Elizabeth's family.  They settled in Jackson Co, AL.
