I am searching for information on George Hall, born ca. 1815.. I believe he may be the father of my ggrandmother, Mary Elizabeth (Hall) Smith, born ca. 1855. Believe the two households in the book, Inhabitants of Marshall Co, 1880 may be this family. I don't have much information on Elizabeth, but she did have at least one sister, at least two brother, H(ar)old, and Jim according to an Aunt's information. Mary Elizabeth Hall married Joel Anderson Smith - moved to Jackson Co, AL. George Hall may have moved to Tuscaloosa, AL. Aunt told me Elizabeth had a sister in an insane asylm there and they both are buried in pauper's graves there.
