Wondering if anyone out there can share some info on William Sampson, AKA Will Sampson, AKA Bud Sampson, dob ? Married Martha Jane Morgan Aug 13, 1857 in Marshall County Ala. (By James Kelley, MG). Will's date of death unknown. Martha was the daughter of Nathan Thomas and Susanna Morgan. She was born in 1833. This couple had at least 4 children, (1) Fanny sampson (My g grandmother) (2) William "Little Will" Sampson (3) Oliver Sampson (4) General Sampson William served as 4th Corporal in the 4th Ala Cav, Russel's Regiment CSA. He survived the war and for some 20 years married perhaps more couples in Marshall County than any other minister of the gospel. I also have reference to a Henry C. Sampson who may have been a brother or father to William. Both are supposedly buried in Brown's or Big Will's valley. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Ed Sims

John E. (R) Davidson was born 1826. The census says Georgia sometimes and sometimes Alabama for the birth state. I have three records of marriage for him. The first one in 1856 in Muscogee Co., Georgia. to Martha Elizabeth Abney. The other two were later in life in Marshall Co., Alabama to Ellen Wesson and Nancy Woodall. He died between 1910 and 1920. He was on the 1910 census of Marshall Co., Alabama. Can anyone help me connect him to parents. I am interested in communicating with any descendants of this person. He is my great grandfather.

I should have pics from McCutchen School, The House of Happiness, Blue Springs, Cathedrial Caverns, and a few others soon. I had a few shots left so I got some of the graves at Old Union Cemetery. They are located here: http://mccutchenfamily.net/kennamer/old_union/html/index.htm This is the link I send out before of the Kennamer reunion pictures: http://mccutchenfamily.net/kennamer/kennamer_2001/html/index.htm Hope you enjoy: Charlie McCutchen http://mccutchenfamily.net --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!?
