    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BRUNSTON Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SS.2ADE/156 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on the following 2 people. If you have any information, please let me know. Susan Elizabeth BUNSON - was born in 1838 in Marshall County, AL. She married a man with the last name of MORRIS, and they had one daughter, named Mexico MORRIS. Mexico was born August 20, 1861, in Alabama (county is unknown). I have no idea who this man was, and what happened to him. Susan and Mexico ended up in Ohio (just the 2 of them), and Susan remarried a man named Elisha GLEASON, and they then had two children. I am hoping to learn more about Mexico's father (and Susan's first husband). I am also interested in anything I can learn about Susan and her parents. If you have any suggestions on where I might go in my search, I would be very grateful.

    1. [ALMARSHA] Marshall County Jail Records
    2. Charles Stephenson
    3. Do the Marshall County, Alabama jail records exist and how do I get them? My gg-grandfather, Abner H. Paris/Parris was kept in the county jail from 1858 until August 10, 1860 at which time he was hung for first degree murder. This jail was in Guntersville at that time and has long been destroyed, but do the jail records still exist? Charles Stephenson San Antonio, Texas

All I know is that the Grammar's and the Grammer's are related. Atleast somewhere down the line. Someplace where there is a William (called Billie). Sorry If I have bothered you in any way.

    3. In the 1880 census for Marshall county is this listing. HART, William H. ...age 39 W.M.Tn HH 45 Gunterville ", Mattie A. age 7, W.F. ", William W. age 5, W.M. ", Jinny age 3, W.F. Jacob, Johnie age 17, W.F. niece There is a marriage record for ELLETT, Isaac M. and Johnnie E. JACOBS in Marshall County 24 Nov 1881. There are several HART-JACOBS marriages listed in Marshall County...Charles W. Jacobs to Elizabeth Hart Nov 1865, J.C. Jacobs to ELizabeth Coffey Nov 1883, John Jacobs to Evaline W. Hart July 1859. There is a Madison County marriage for Mr. E.H. Vann to Miss Maggie/Mattie Jacobs Dec 1884 in the home of Issac Ellett preformed by Elder J.W. Brown. My questions are ... Can anyone add anything to the birth information of either Johnnie Jacobs or Maggie/Mattie Jacobs? What was the name of the wife of William H. Hart In the 1870 census there is a listing on the index (I have not seen a copy of the actual page to know who might be in the household with him ) for Hart, William, Marshall Ct. AL Guntersille M583,roll29,page 107 or if there are other Jacobs families living within a few household that might give a clue as to the parents of either Johnie or Maggie/Mattie/Margaret Thanks to all of you for input on this mystery. marta

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/SS.2ADE/149.1.1 Message Board Post: To add a picture or gedcom file to your message post look at the bottom of the 'Post Message" box and you will see 'Attachments:" [Add]. Click on the [Add] and another window will pop up so you can find your file. Click browse to where you have the file stored on your computer and select it. Then finish posting your message. A message that has a picture or a gedcom attached will have an Icon under the message that is clickable. This will open the picture or gedcom for you to view. I have added pictures to a message but have not added a gedcom yet. It worked well for the pictures I added and this is the way it is supposed to work for the gedcom files. Let me know if this works for you. Ann Glasgow
