Greetings My father's branch of the Cook family were relatively recent newcomers to Marion County. Willie Robert (Bob) Lee Cook, son of John Willie Cook, was from Randolph County, but came to Marion after 1913. He married Nora Dale Fredrick. Bob's brother Marvin was in Marion before him. Bob & Nora are buried at the Cooper Cemetery. I think Marvin is, too. I vaguely recall my Dad talking about Cecil --so I'll check and get back to you.
