    3. Greetings to All. I have just signed on with this great list: My gt.gt grandfather ALEXANDER BEARD moved to Marion Co abt. 1830 when he was 80 yrs. old. with his daughter Rachel. where he filed for a Rev.war pension 7 Mar. 1831 He was living in PIKEVILLE. I suppose he died there shortly afterwards.and was buried there at age 81.or 82. So, this leads me to my query. Can ANYONE give me any idea where I could find an obituary or a burial place?(cemetery) I suppose that some historicl society or someone might have recorded something. Anything would would be very much appreciated Thank you sincerely Fred baird

    3. There is a "Thomas Beard", between 30 and 40 years of age, listed on the 1830 Federal Census for Marion County, Alabama.
