He is listed as William M. Brown. On my great grandmother's death certificate, he is listed only as Marion Brown. He was in the 1st Alabama Cavalry, and married Susan Tice. On my great grandmother's death certificate, she is listed as Susan T. Brown. He is buried in Brown/Ballard Cemetery in Marion County. His grave is marked with a broken homemade tombstone. I would like to find enough information to see if I could get him a military grave marker.
