    3. Dear List Members, Has anyone of you ever heard of a 'Fame' Mitchell? That name is probably a nickname but it's all I have to go on. On the back of an old picture that I have is written these words "Aunt Fame Pace Mitchell". I am assuming that she was a 'Pace' before marrying a 'Mitchell'. She and her husband, ? Mitchell, may have resided in Franklin or Marion county or somewhere else nearby. She was probably born in the late 1840's. She may have had a sister or a cousin named 'Georgia Ann Pace Clement'. Any help at all with this would be vastly appreciated!!! I believe she is related to our Pace people somehow. Thank you so much, Karla

    3. Karla, I have no knowledge of how FAME Pace Mitchell connects; but notice that WEALTHY was another favored name by the Pace family. Below is a sketch of the family of Georgia Ann Pace, as I now have it. Several of the local Pace men died in the Civil War, and are possible parents for both Georgia Ann & for FAME. =========== Husband: John O'Riley Clement ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- Birth: Nov 29 1872 Mound City, Pulaski County IL Census: 1880 O'Riley indicated to be his middle name; Death: Sep 18 1944 Fordyce, Dallas Co AR Marriage: Feb 6 1890 Hamilton , Marion Co Ala Father: Sgt, Co A, 1st Ala Cav (refugees) Peter Richard Clement (b Jan 8 1840) Mother: Sarah Isabelle Reed (b Feb 29 1848) Other spouse: America "Merica" BURLESON (m May 13 1893) Other spouse: Annie Leora Jordan (m 1901) ============================================================================ ============== Wife: Georgia Ann Pace ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- Birth: 1874 AL Death: Jan 12 1891 Father: unknown Pace Mother: Fetney Angeline, unknown ============================================================================ ============== Children ============================================================================ ============== 1 M William Arthur Clement Birth: Jan 12 1891 Ill Death: 1968 Spouse: Anna Frances "Fannie" Barnes Joel S.
